Herb & Sue Haines Serving with Youth With A Mission God has called the Haines family to be a part of the ministries of Youth With A Mission. They have served as volunteers in YWAM for over 25 years. All YWAM staff are non-salaried workers, so they have the privilege of seeing God's provision through friends partnering with them, both in prayer and giving financially to help meet their ministry and personal needs. They are currently at about 60% of their budget needs. Herb and Sue have served both in the United States and abroad, including the following countries: Jamaica, Bahamas, Russia, Argentina, Mexico and Canada. Herb functions mainly in a logistical role, helping to keep the outreach teams on the cutting edge throughout the world. He currently coordinates the Twin Oaks Ranch procurement department, working with other ministries and companies to obtain supplies and equipment for the Tyler/Lindale YWAM base, as well as other ministries around the world. Whether the need is for food to feed refugees or for equipment to assist other local ministries, Herb has been available to serve in all these capacities. Sue serves the younger half of the world. She coordinates the YWAM Twin Oaks children's ministries, helps as the children's education director at Community Christian Fellowship, and ministers into the lives of young people at the local public schools as the opportunity arises. There are missionaries throughout the world today that she taught back when they were just preschoolers. She also has ministered into the lives of many adults through discipleship and prayer. Herb and Sue have four children in school: Stephen, David, Daniel and Michelle. They have participated in numerous missions endeavors and have witnessed first-hand God's heart for the world.
