Application for
CCF Missionary Support
Who is eligible for monthly support
from CCF?
Roughly half of the CCF
church body is comprised of full-time missionaries, and many have requested to
be supported by our church. In order to be considered for monthly financial support from
CCF, applicants must be in active relationship with CCF, ideally having attended regularly and
served in some capacity at CCF for at least three
years. This is particularly true for locally based missions workers.
Areas of service at CCF include teaching classes, serving as usher/greeter, helping in the
Information Center, nursery, Kidz Zone, or youth group, regularly participating in prayer
groups, workdays, etc. We have had to implement stringent guidelines due to the large number of locally serving applicants.
Relationship with CCF is key. If
someone applies to be a CCF-supported
missionary and a majority of the missions committee, leadership or church
staff don't know who that applicant is or how they've served at CCF, that's
a clue that that person may not have "plugged in" and been an
integral part of CCF to the degree we would like for missionary support consideration.
How must one apply to become a
CCF-supported missionary?
If you are in active relationship with CCF, you may download & print the application (see
below), fill it out, have the three reference forms filled out (if you are a
first-time applicant), and mail it
(or deliver it in person) to the church office to be reviewed by the
missions committee & eldership.
Applications must be submitted
by July 31st and will be reviewed and
prayed about by the missions committee. By October the missions
committee's recommendations are submitted for approval to CCF's elders.
Upon approval, monthly financial support would begin the following January
for the full calendar year. All CCF missionaries are required to re-apply
every summer for continued support.
